Middle Name For Cora- Part... Well... I've Lost Count...

Thank you all so much for the help you’ve given us thus far! Now just hoping for a bit of help in the last part of our ‘naming’ journey!

We’ve definitley decided to use [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as our little girls first name, due in [name_u]June[/name_u]. Big brother is [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] “[name_u]Jem[/name_u]”.

Some ideas we have thus far-

[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]- [name_f]Lilies[/name_f] were our wedding flower, and I think this combo is sweet and spunky.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f]- I love the frilly flair of [name_f]Elouise[/name_f]!
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]- We have an [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] on the family tree, and again, I love the girly flair.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] - since big brother is [name_u]Jem[/name_u], this would be a small tribute to the book, as Scouts name was [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Feelings got hurt in the family when we were going to use [name_f]Louise[/name_f] on its own, so I like this option.

I’m not completely sold on any of them, and definitley still looking for suggestions. I really love [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], but DH won’t agree to it. His favorite middle is [name_f]Lily[/name_f] right now. Id love something sweet and girly, but maybe also slightly modern/trendy, so that it doesn’t sound too ‘old lady.’

Any suggestions/opinions welcome!

[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] Lain
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_m]Lay[/name_m]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f]

Oh, I’ve always loved [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and not many of the variations, except (of course) Lillah. But that’s a bit my heirs [name_f]Cora[/name_f].
I actually really like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], and if you’re using [name_f]Louise[/name_f] with that combo, it’s not bad!

I love all the meanings attached to your options and don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you pick.

I really like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! I think it’s very elegant but still a bit spunky. Second choice would be [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f].

Our hesitation with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is that it sounds so much like [name_f]Cala[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and we aren’t sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing! I find the syllables I stress when I say them together to be a bit odd- the stress goes more on the first syllable of [name_f]Cora[/name_f], so that it sounds like I’m trying to say [name_f]Cala[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. Otherwise I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is really sweet!
