Could I please get some recommendations for a middle name for [name]Cora[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] works? That is the middle name we had wanted to use but now thar we are leaning towards [name]Cora[/name] I’m not so sure it works. Thank you!
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] is okay. If you love it then I think it’s very nice. It’s not perfect in terms of flow–both 2 syllable and repeated R sounds.
What about:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Hadley[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
I’m not too keen on [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name]. I think it’s all the R sounds. They sort of crowd each other. [name]Cora[/name] is a lovely name, though.
I like:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Scarlet[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Lily[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Lucinda[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Desiree[/name]
And because I love alliteration, I couldn’t resist adding:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Clemence[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Calista[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]
I love [name]Cora[/name], however, imo [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] just doesn’t flow. But, if y’all love it then you need to go with it.
Other suggestions:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Lily[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Hope[/name] some of these help!
I love these:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
I think [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] works fine if you truly love it.
Other suggestions:
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (really love this)
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]/[name]Madeleine[/name]
I like the suggestions of [name]Cora[/name] with a more elaborate middle name. However, if you’re set on [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name], it’s fine too.
From the ones above, I tend to like rgp19’s suggestions the most. Especially [name]Cora[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name], to me, doesn’t work as much because all of the R’s and the flow just isn’t right. I’m liking the four-syllable names with [name]Cora[/name] the most, overall.
Great advice, thank you all!
In contrast to everyone else, I don’t like pairing [name]Cora[/name] with a longer, frillier, more taditional name.
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] works just fine for me–since I assume you love [name]Harper[/name] for being not so traditional, like [name]Madeleine[/name], etc.
To me [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] has a totally different vibe than [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], however pretty the combo sounds. If [name]Harper[/name] you both love, use it!
I had to check this thread to see if anyone suggested [name]Cora[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]. I’m happy a few of you like it, as it is my choice right now for a hopefully future daughter.
As for [name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name], I think it is ok but I do think some of the other suggestions flow better. If you dont like the frilly names, I like [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] [name]Kathleen[/name] suggested by jtucker above.
You could also do [name]Coralie[/name] [name]Harper[/name] and call her [name]Cora[/name].
[name]How[/name] about [name]Cora[/name] [name]Alice[/name]?
That is so pretty!
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Harper[/name] works - depending on your last name.
