Desmond is a handsome name! Assuming [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] is last name?
Desmond [name_u]Miller[/name_u] - not a fan of [name_u]Miller[/name_u], it makes me think of the beer. I think I would save [name_f]Millie[/name_f] as a possible middle for a future daughter.
Desmond [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - I like this one! [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is a bit unexpected for boys but it’s a sweet middle name. I’m not sure if it has the best flow with [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] but it has the same vibes as [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] to me.
Desmond [name_u]Emory[/name_u] - I think this one flows the best out of all your options but it’s not my favorite. I think of [name_u]Emory[/name_u] as much more of a girl’s name than [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] ([name_u]Emery[/name_u] was my top girl name for a while!). Still, it flows well with [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] and [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] so if you love it this is a strong option.
Overall, my favorite is [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], but [name_u]Emory[/name_u] is also a strong option.
I think [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] is fine. I think any of the middle names on their own are nice, but with [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] as the first, I wouldn’t pair any of them. [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] has such a strong M sound to it, and all three of your middle names do as well. It kinda ties up the tongue a little and doesn’t flow, to me. Are there any other family names that don’t have a strong M sound to them?
I love [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] and also the nickname [name_u]Desi[/name_u]! The standout favourite for me on your list is [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Miller[/name_u] which flows so smoothly with your last name.
Ooh, I love [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Emory[/name_u]! For me, this one really sparkles. [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] I like in theory, but I find it harder to say.
Seconding [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Miller[/name_u] as a middle name with family links i wouldn’t consider the beer a problem. If you were saying it every day it might be, but that’s not normally the case for a middle name. I think it flows the best of the 3.
I love both [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Emory[/name_u] and [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Miller[/name_u]. I like the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], but I’m not sure of the flow of the combo.
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m] is nice and not heard a lot. [name_u]Desi[/name_u] is darling!
For some reason all three combos sound like law firms. [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], [name_u]Miller[/name_u], and [name_m]Perkins[/name_m], how may we direct your call?
I like [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Miller[/name_u] [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] the best of the three.
PS I am a nitwit! I didn’t even think of Perkins being the last name. I just thought you liked it a lot.
Then, I would choose a middle that is not a surname, but more of a first name sound.
Desmond [name_u]Miller[/name_u] is my favorite, followed by [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Emory[/name_u].
The only one I don’t really like is [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. The two Mond/ Mor sounds are very close to each other and are both heavy MO sounds I dislike so close together.
I like [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Emory[/name_u] [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] the best! [name_u]Miller[/name_u] probably has the best sound of these, but I just like the name [name_u]Emory[/name_u] so much more than [name_u]Miller[/name_u].
Thank you everyone! We took [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] off the list because we agree it doesn’t flow nice and took [name_u]Miller[/name_u] off because DH says it sounds like a last name…and he’s just not liking it.
Emory is still in the running but now I need thoughts on [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and also any other suggestions!
