[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! We found out last week that we’re expecting a little girl! We’re so very excited!! We decided on the first name [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]) a long time ago. We’re having trouble agreeing on a middle name, though.
Some family names in consideration include [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (my favorite, but husband isn’t convinced), [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] also came up as an “ehh…not bad” option. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these? What other suggestions do you have? Our last name starts with “S” and rhymes with [name_m]Butler[/name_m]. Thanks!!
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is my favorite. I also love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (hard to not love [name_f]Jane[/name_f]). I could even get on board with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_m]Butler[/name_m], because it sounds so important!
I don’t think you could go wrong with either of those three. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] takes it a bit too old lady, imo. I don’t care for [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] and a mn, myself, because it seems a little throwaway. Basically all of my friends have middle names of [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], or [name_u]Lynn[/name_u].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! Such a sweet, timeless name. I think I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] best from your options. I’ve recently added it to my own list, and I’m still torn on combos, as well, but I think I’m leaning toward [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] ([name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a family name for me). I’m biased, but I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are utterly brilliant together.

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] actually has a really nice flow to it as well, but I’m thinking that maybe one day if you have a sister for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] then they could be [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is a little long, but I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. I agree that [name_f]Opal[/name_f] sounds a bit dated. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Diana[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], or [name_f]Breanne[/name_f]? Good luck!
