Hey! I’ve decided on the name [name_u]Elias[/name_u] “Eli” for my baby!
Siblings are [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] “Ari” and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “Max”. I had a lot of trouble choosing a name because I wanted the style to match but the most limiting factor was a short, cute nickname! So, [name_u]Elias[/name_u] “Eli” or [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] “Luke” were two top contenders but [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is winning for a few reasons and now I’m totally set on the name! I also tried out some more unique names but we have a very difficult, long last name so I couldn’t bring myself to do something that would cause more confusion. Can’t wait to meet [name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] in a few weeks!
Now, I need help picking a full name! [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] is the only name on my list right now, but I need a little convincing or some more traditional options.
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u] is a name my husband had never heard before but it stuck with him from my original long list of baby names. He loves it so much he suggested it as the middle name a while ago. Now, a few members of the family have heard about it and said it’s cool. So, we have [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], which sounds pretty neat!
So I’m curious, in your opinion, what attributes would make a good middle name for [name_u]Elias[/name_u]? What letter sounds should I look for? How many syllables would be best? Thanks for any ideas or suggestions!
[name_u]Elias[/name_u] with nickname [name_u]Eli[/name_u] is wonderful! The middle name sounds I may avoid would be heavy S or L sounds but most others flow well, IMO. [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] is very nice. Maybe you would like [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Luke[/name_m]? Another option I like is to use your maiden name, if applicable and useable, in the middle spot.
