We are trying to decide on a mn for [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]. I would like to use Woodford, which is my father and grandfather’s name, but I know that the name is unusual. Would shortening it to [name_m]Ford[/name_m] be/sound better? Our last name starts with an R and is two syllables. Any other suggestions are appreciated!
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] Woodford sounds nice - it’s a family name so I think it works. [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] also sounds great!!
Some other suggestions
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] Woodford seems perfect to me!! Yes, Woodford is unusual, but that’s what makes it special along with the family connections. I sometimes think way too much thought is put into the middle name – for most people their middle name is used very rarely. People will hear it when you announce baby’s birth, when he graduates from high school/college, maybe when he gets married, and that’s probably about it.
I do not care for [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] nearly as much.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] Woodford sounds very distinguished. I like it.
