I’m a relatively new member and I’m currently working on a list of favorite names. I’m wondering which middle name goes best with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] or [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. Or should I use both as two middle names: [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]? Please help me with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]!
Personally, I’d go for simple, chic [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is already a wonderfully elaborate and “decorative” name, and I think [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] competes with it a little too much, and makes it a bit of a mouthful. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has just the right balance, flow and presence. It’s beautiful!
Well, as a person who has two middle names herself and loves too many names for the amount of kids she may someday have, I definitely encourage the use of two middle names! The 3 you have here are all so beautiful (and on my own list as well, teehee) and all pair really well together! [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] flows the best in my opinion and that way [name_f]Iris[/name_f] doesn’t get swallowed up at the end! I have a feeling our name tastes might overlap a bit. [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to Nameberry
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is stunning, but [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is magical too (and gives you the best of both)
Thank y’all so much for your replies! After much careful consideration, I think I’ll go with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]. Thenk you for the warm welcome, @[name_f]Celes[/name_f].
