I posted the other day about not being able to choose between [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Cian[/name_m]. Nothing is set in stone but I think we’ll probably end up going with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] to spare him the burden of always correcting people. So now we’re having a tough time on the middle name.
We’re trying to choose between:
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cian[/name_m] M** (since obviously we love both names)
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Michael[/name_m] M** (after my husband and younger brother’s middle name, kind of boring but has meaning and flows well)
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] M** (my middle name is [name_f]Nicole[/name_f], so that’s where that comes from)
Thanks in advance.
Remind me how you’re going to pronounce [name_m]Cian[/name_m]? [name_m]Ky[/name_m]-an? or [name_m]Sy[/name_m]-an? or Seen?
I say if you like both names then [name]Everett Cian[/name] is your winner. The other options are great too! [name_m]Just[/name_m] more “common”.
[name_m]Cian[/name_m] is actually Kee-in. I love both names but I feel when they’re said together… They’re both such strong names alone that they almost fight each other. As much as it pains me to admit that. The other 2 middle names aren’t exactly my style… but somehow ended up in the middle name spot. The fact that they have meaning though is a big factor.
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cian[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] are both great options! As someone who was given the same, boring middle name as her sister and grandmother, I would say pass on [name_m]Micheal[/name_m]. I just feel like the middle name should be a spot to be a little more adventurous, but to each their own.
Kee-in! Very cool! I like it in the middle spot.
All 3 are lovely.
I personally like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m].
But then [name_m]Cian[/name_m] is very distinctive and if you love it then I think it’s a great choice.
[name_m]Michael[/name_m] is a bit plain, but beside [name_u]Everett[/name_u] I think it’s fine and if it has meaning then it’s a good choice.
I guess it’s really your decision based on what’s most important to you–meaning or loving the name.
I like them all! I honestly can’t decide. I like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cian[/name_m] for you, since you love [name_m]Cian[/name_m] so much, but I love the significance of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Michael[/name_m]. And I just like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] best, because I love [name_m]Cole[/name_m]! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. [name_m]How[/name_m] do you feel about taking all three combos to the hospital, and see which fits him best when he gets here? If it was me, I’d probably go with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] because I love it, but I like all three for you a lot.
Good luck!
