For me, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] only works with [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. I don’t care for how [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and [name_u]Julie[/name_u] end in the same sound. And the repeated L’s can be a bit of a tongue twister in [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]. But, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is very nice and works well with [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] also makes a nice name combo.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] has the best flow in my opinion and is a very pretty combo.
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] sounds the best with it. Since [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is already on the frilly side I’d spell it [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
With [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], you end up with ly-[name_m]Ly[/name_m]-la as the last 3 syllables. Not ideal. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Julie[/name_u] rhymes and doesn’t flow very well. So I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is the best choice.
I also feel like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] sounds best actually, so I am not surprised at what you berries think.
However, I am not sure yet if we will dare to go with that as middle name. We have to check with the family/relatives. My husband is jewish and I do not know if it is ok to name someone after someone who is still alive, which is the case with the name [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. Anyone who knows? My husband is not sure.
All other names we have in the family have all been shut down straight by my husband so [name_u]Julie[/name_u]/[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] is all we got at this point. Or does anyone get any ideas of names that can go with [name_u]Everly[/name_u] from any of the following names?
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]: (means life. I am open to other names with the meaning life)
[name_f]Angelica[/name_f]
[name_f]Birgit[/name_f]
[name_f]Kerstin[/name_f]
[name_f]Edna[/name_f]
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u]
[name_f]Elvira[/name_f]
[name_f]Edla[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] no doubt. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Julia[/name_f] (combo of [name_u]Julie[/name_u] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]) also works. Or [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] I like it though that’s quite a long name so I voted for [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Lyla[/name_f].
What about [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f]?
I am not surprised [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] gets the vote. I think it sounds best as well.
However, I am not sure that we should or can go with that name. The [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] we are naming her after is very much alive. My husband is jewish and I am not sure that it’s OK to name someone after a persont hat is still alive. My husband was not sure and of course we will ask the family. But do you have any thoughts on this?
Other options we had on middle names for our girl from either side of our family have been shut down by my husband. But maybe some of you berries get any ideas on similar names from any of the following?
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] (My name. Means life. It would be nice with a name with the same meaning)
[name_f]Angelica[/name_f]
[name_f]Kerstin[/name_f]
[name_f]Birgit[/name_f]
[name_f]Edla[/name_f]
[name_f]Edna[/name_f]
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u]
[name_f]Elvira[/name_f]
[name_f]Yvonne[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Ingeborg[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Enid[/name_f] (ee-nid) meaning soul or life would seem to connect with [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Edla[/name_f], [name_f]Edna[/name_f], [name_u]Andrea[/name_u], and even [name_f]Ingeborg[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] already has a connection to [name_f]Liv[/name_f] because of [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and to [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] and [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f] in my eyes.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Cheya[/name_f] also means life
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] (could be pronounced zoh instead of zoh-ee)
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is lovely, but what about
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] (means with healing power)
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Anthea[/name_f] (similar to both [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f], means flowery)
or even [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] meaning gift of God
