I like both- some girls get Finely but a girl called [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] would be unusual. For that reason I prefer [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
emiliaj - I love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]! [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flows well but it’s not really my style. Thanks!
I can never decide which I like better either. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are great.
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] has a slight edge for me because it looks more complete to me. I love [name_u]Finn[/name_u] as a nickname.
The possibilities for middles are near endless… any name more than 1 syllable… doesn’t end in n… but there’s even some wiggle room to that. eg, [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]/[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] sounds good to me! So…
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
?
emsky - I love [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]! I have bad associations with the name [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]; [name_m]Edward[/name_m] is my uncles name; I know several little girls named [name_u]Avery[/name_u].
I just came across the name [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] in another thread. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Finn[/name_u]/[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]?
I’ve finally made a decision, and the winner is… [name_u]FINN[/name_u]!
I like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] a lot for a boy. I like it much more than [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] would sound better than [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] is even better because there are no Ls and it is three syllables.
I love both names, but prefer [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] (my son’s name
) and where I am there are ALOT of Finns…
I like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]/[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] the best.
I love [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is a great name.
I like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] better myself, it feels more classic. I prefer [name_u]Finley[/name_u] or [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] to just [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I would go with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]–it provides a nice, Biblical counterpoint to these names, which are lovely but very on-trend. I prefer [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] as a name in general, but somehow it doesn’t sound right with [name_u]Finn[/name_u]/[name_u]Flynn[/name_u], especially since [name_m]Fin[/name_m] and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] are two characters on [name_m]Law[/name_m] and Order: SVU, so to me it’s an odd combination there.
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is my choice!
