Is [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] as a middle name for [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] too much? I like the idea of using the nickname [name_f]GiGi[/name_f], in addition to the possibilities of [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] has a bit too much G, but I’ve never been a fan of alliteration. From your list I really like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]! I don’t like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] I the middle though. I love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. If you want [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], how about:
Honestly, I think a ‘G’ name is enough to use the nickname [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]. I know a couple that have a daughter named [name_f]Gianna[/name_f] and they call her [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]. I do think [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is too much; or any alliteration of G’s is too much, for that matter. It’s just a very heavy letter sound.
I like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I suppose if you use a middle name that begins with an ‘I,’ then you’d have GI as the initials so that may make you feel a little more validated if you wanted to use [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] as a nickname?
I really like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], but some can still see it as old and stuffy so I’d stick with pairing it with names that are still classic, but maybe a little more spunky (i.e. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Iris[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Irene[/name_f] or even [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a little too goody-goody and predictable as a middle name spot already).
What about [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]? I also used to have [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] on my list.
I agree with spunky - I suggested [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], but my husband vetoed!
