We’re naming our little girl [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]. Any ideas for a middle name?
We’ve considered things like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f] (but those are both family names and we’ve decided to avoid jumping down that rabbit hole).
I would put [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] in the middle. For instance, [name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] are far prettier than the masculine [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].
I would give [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] a feminine middle to avoid confusion. If you like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f], maybe you’ll like:
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] an idea, but if you chose to use [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] as a first name, you could use nn [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and have a few more options for a middle name.
I love the name [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] for a girl, but I don’t think I’d use it if my surname started with S. I don’t like first names that end with the same consonant that the surname starts with, especially when it’s an S!
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_m]Simpson[/name_m] (for example) just sounds like Hey [name_m]Simpson[/name_m] to me.
