I would suggestion [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] or [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_f]Adele[/name_f]. I don’t prefer the repetion of the “n” in the middle name, since it is in the first name twice. (I am sensitive to this because I have a lot of n’s in my full name.)
I don’t see the problem with your original plan of the middle name being [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. It’s a very pretty name.
No offence at all but why would you name your child (and girl child at that) [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]? you are aware that is a patronym meaning son of jens in danish right? Why not name her [name_f]Jensine[/name_f]/Jensigne or something else entirely? (not to be rude or anything but I’m danish and honestly it would somewhat bar your child from ever visting most of Scandinavia ((sorry I am assuming you are American)) because it
Would be seen as kind of preposterous)
Completely agree! I don’t know why people don’t respect the names from other cultures. It doesn’t look cool at all
Where I live, it’s perfectly acceptable to give girls traditionally masculine names or surnames. Growing up I was referred to by my last name by lots of my friends so I guess to me it’s normal. I still like [name_u]Jensen[/name_u], but thanks for letting me know about how it’s perceived in Scandinavia.
