[name_m]Hi[/name_m]. I really love [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] but I know that [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] flows better. What middle names do people recommend. Any favourites?! I’d love to know what you think!
Both are lovely but with the surname maybe [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] does flow better - what about [name_f]Iris[/name_f] too?
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]. I do like [name_f]Iris[/name_f]! I could even go with [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] which is my great grandmother’s name. I just thought that [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] sounded so pretty and feminine.
I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] works fine. I’m also a fan of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] in the middle.
Thanks! [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] was a was a name on my list too
Fun fact, the founder of the Girl Guides/Girl Scouts was named [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_m]Gordon[/name_m] Low, but her childhood nickname was [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
That being said, I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] OR [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would work. But my favorite from those is [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] works well and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is really elegant and sweet. What do you think of [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]?
Thanks [name_u]Steph[/name_u]! That’s a very interesting fact
…I don’t mind them thanks!
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] Kehoe
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Kehoe
I like the sound of a one syllable name after 3 syllable [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. The rhythm of 3 syllables- one syllable - 2 syllables is very pleasing to me.
The name that came to mind is [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] Kehoe
There are other one syllable names that would work, but I like the alliteration of the K sounds of the middle and last name.
I prefer Juilette [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
I don’t feel like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] goes well with Juilette.
Juilette [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] looks natural and flows well together.
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] but think [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] works much better ( I really like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] too). Other ideas: [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Edie[/name_f]/[name_f]Eadie[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_m]Fairlie[/name_m], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u].
If you are not of French/Belgian/French African/French Caribbean etc origin you shouldn’t name your child Juliette. Here in the UK where I am from French names on English-speaking people with no connection to any French-speaking country or territory are usually low-income families with several children (Chardonnay, Rochelle, Chantelle, Brielle, etc) and usually associated with poor families in council homes. Sorry to break it to you but the first Juliette I met was the definition of chav. No connection to French-speaking territories whatsoever.
Sorry to be blunt about it.
Perhaps try Henriette, Genevieve, Odalys instead? These names are very popular in Germanic countries.
I like the flow of [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] Kehoe better than [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] Kehoe honestly, although both are very pretty. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is absolutely stunning though, and I am a sucker for family names, so that does push me a bit in that direction
I still prefer a one syllable middle name. Here are some other suggestions you might want to consider besides my previous suggestion of [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]…
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
Both are lovely, it’s a really hard choice!
I kind of feel like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] have the same classical feel about them, whereas [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] has a more sweet feeling. But I do love [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f], being timeless, classy and beautiful needs an equally timeless, classy and beautiful MN (even better if it honors someone!) SO, the flowery/bird names are a big no-no. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] Kehoe is gorgeous.
I second [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] Kehoe. That would be lovely.
Good luck with your decision…
Blunt is the word!
What you have written comes across both as highly classist, and also highly inaccurate. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] has none of the associations you describe here in the UK. Would you say the same about [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? All of those are [name_m]French[/name_m] forms too, and I doubt the [name_m]Duke[/name_m] and Duchess of Cambridge would appreciate being called “chavs”.
