[name_m]Hi[/name_m], berries! I need your help! My husband and I absolutely adore the name Lenya (pronounced lin-yuh), but we are struggling to find a middle name that flows well and that we really love.
We have considered Lenya [name_u]June[/name_u], Lenya [name_u]Emery[/name_u], and Lenya [name_f]Tess[/name_f] but haven’t settled on one of these combinations yet. What are your thoughts on these?
Also, we would absolutely love to hear any suggestions you have!! Here are some other names we like so you can get a sense of our style: [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], & [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
I have admired the name Lenya in your signature whenever I see it. [name_f]May[/name_f] I ask where you got it from or what is the history behind it?
I love Lenya [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. A little sing songy, which I love, [name_u]Emery[/name_u] adds a bit of length, which I also really like. [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] feel a little understated and short with Lenya.
I really like the idea of Lenya [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]. Maybe you’re not a fan of alliteration, I certainly am not always, but I’m really liking this one! I also love the pp’s suggestion of Lenya [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f].

Lenya [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
All the best.
@sansavesper Lenya [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is absolutely adorable!
@columbiacharm Thank you so much! I’m so glad you asked. I actually first heard the name when I read the book Through The Eyes Of A [name_m]Lion[/name_m] by pastor [name_m]Levi[/name_m] Lusko. The book is about facing pain and finding power; it is based around the loss of his second daughter, Lenya. I adored the name from the very beginning! It is a Russian name for [name_m]Lion[/name_m].
I agree that it needs a longer middle than [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. I actually really love Lenya [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], the alliteration doesn’t bother me in this case. I also love your suggestions of Lenya [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
Thank you both again, I really appreciate your help
Thank you @yuma! I have always liked the name [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Lenya [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is really cute! I love that it sounds like [name_u]June[/name_u] but is longer.
