So I really like the name [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m], which is of Greek origin I believe, with the awesome nickname possibilities of [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m]. But finding a good middle to go with it is a little harder than deciding that I really do love the name!
To give you an idea, I very much like [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but the possibilities surrounding initials starting LA- puts me off a little. [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is another, but I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] so much I would prefer to use it as a first rather than a middle.
Any suggestions? I’m open to any style - and I’m not Greek so don’t worry about the origins of the name!
I know, it’s a wonderful pairing! I also rather like [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] . . . [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is also very handsome. I’d ruled out [name_m]Charles[/name_m] (or so I thought) because I didn’t think the sibilant endings worked with each other . . . but that might just be me?
You have somehow managed to hit on one of my favourite names . . . [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]! Leondias [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] . . . hmm . . probably the same thing I have with [name_u]Finn[/name_u], I like it too much for a second name!!
Ooh, I like [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]! [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] goes well, too. And [name_u]Blake[/name_u]!!
Thank you, your suggestions have given me much food for thought! My favourites are probably [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Olivier[/name_m] (again, another name I like that I hadn’t thought of to go in the middle), [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Fisher[/name_m], and [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Colt[/name_m]. I think I’m liking the shorter names in general - two syllables, or one syllable, rather than three.
