We have decided on [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] for a first name.
I want to honour my sister [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] in the middle. We are trying to decide between [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], Lamorna- my sister’s middle and [name_f]May[/name_f]
My sister’s birth month.
We have a one syllable last name.
I like [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] the best too because it’s such an obvious nod to my sister. I was concerned about the repeated “in” sounds in both names. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that is a big deal?
[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] sounds gorgeous! The repeated ‘in’ isn’t a big deal, because they are pronounced at different parts in each name, if they were both at the end of the name then it might be a problem, but they aren’t so it’s not an issue at all in my opinion.
Although I prefer [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] because of honoring your sister, I think [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is very cute spoken aloud!
Thank you so much for your input everyone. I am still so torn between the two. I really want to use my sister’s name but [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] just feels so light and fresh for a spring baby. Perhaps I just need a bit more time?
