My husband and I are expecting our first child (gender unknown) and love the first name [name]Lux[/name]. We are thinking of middle names and are having a hard time coming up with one we both agree on. We want something longer than one syllable (our last name is [name]Young[/name]), and maybe something a little different, but not too out there. We also aren’t into crazy spellings of normal names.
So far we like:
*[name]Lux[/name] Emsley [name]Young[/name]
*[name]Lux[/name] Crews [name]Young[/name] (family name)
*[name]Lux[/name] [name]Eveline[/name] [name]Young[/name]
*[name]Lux[/name] [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Young[/name]
Any other suggestions? For some reason the E names tend to sound better to us off the tongue, but open to anything! Thanks!!
The first two sound made up, [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Lux[/name] [name]Eveline[/name] isn’t bad, but I’m not sure how you pronounce it (like [name]Evelyn[/name]? Or [name]Eve[/name], followed by the first syllable of [name]Lena[/name]? I’ve heard both). And [name]Maisie[/name] [name]Lux[/name] sounds better to me, even though that isn’t an option.
[name]Lux[/name] (blank) [name]Young[/name]. With a 1-?-1 syllable count, I’d choose at least another two or more syllable middle name to avoid a monotone quality. Consider having a 1-2-1 or 1-3-1 at least. I’ll link up a list of 3 syllable middle name possibilities.
You could also do a Super Search for 3 syllable girl names. I’d look into avoiding word names with a somewhat wordy first name (at least in Latin I believe) and your [name]Young[/name] last name.
