I like [name]Mae[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] because I like the sound of a three-syllable middle name paired with a single-syllable first name. I also think that the MM alliteration is pretty.
You have certainly already thought of this, but I just wanted to point out that all of these names sound like a question. [name]May[/name] [name]Sylvia[/name] read?
My last name is a common word, too, and I know it can be a pain. Maybe this doesn’t bother you, but it would be jarring to me.
[name]Lilian[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Reed[/name]
[name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Reed[/name]
[name]Lucille[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Reed[/name]
1 [name]Mae[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]
2 [name]Mae[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]
3 [name]Mae[/name] [name]Sylvia[/name]
Since mn’s are rarely known outside of family and friends, I don’t think the name combos sounding like a question ([name]May[/name] [name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Read[/name]?) would be a big issue. For most of her life, your daughter will be known simply as [name]Mae[/name] [name]Reed[/name].
i like the MM alliteration so i would go with mae matilda. it reminds me of mae mobley leefolt in “the help.” what a loveable character!
