After much thought, i’m pretty sure we are going to go with [name]Magnolia[/name].
Our first DD is [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Kate[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Magnolia[/name] goes with [name]Aurora[/name]?
So far for middle name options we have: [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]. [name]Both[/name] family names.
Which do you prefer? Also, other options are welcome! not sold on [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Rebecca[/name] quite yet.
I love it! I like [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - I love [name]Rebecca[/name], but I don’t think it flows really well with [name]Magnolia[/name].
I think [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Magnolia[/name] work together pretty well. You are setting up a word name thing, and [name]Aurora[/name] is much more familiar than [name]Magnolia[/name], but, [name]Magnolia[/name] has the familiar nn [name]Maggie[/name], and just stylistically they are about as equally feminine and share a joining “o”, so I think they work together well.
I really like [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! I think [name]Magnolia[/name] needs something short and simple after it and [name]Jane[/name] fits the bill perfectly! And it’s a family name! I’m sorry you’re not sold on it - it’s great. And it makes the name a little better matched to [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Kate[/name].
Other options might be
[name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Joan[/name] (like the o overlap, and [name]Joan[/name] is related to [name]Jane[/name] so it’s still sort of honoring, although I like [name]Joan[/name] less on the whole as a name)
[name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Mae[/name] ([name]Maggie[/name] [name]Mae[/name]! Might be too much for some but I think ti’s OK).
[name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Faye[/name]
I think [name]Magnolia[/name] (while nms) goes fine with [name]Aurora[/name]. I prefer [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] because it flows better.’
I love the name [name]Magnolia[/name] - you may or may not know that she was the leading female character in [name]Jerome[/name] [name]Kern[/name]'s famous play Show Boat. The character was [name]Magnolia[/name] Hawkes and she went by the nickname “[name]Nolie[/name].” As for middle names, I prefer [name]Jane[/name] to [name]Rebecca[/name].
I love [name]Magnolia[/name] with [name]Aurora[/name]! [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my favorite of your two choices. Also, how about [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] or [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]?
Personally, I think sibsets are overrated, and so is “flow.” Unless you’re going to call her by her first and middle together, they don’t need to flow, in my opinion.
With that in mind, my vote would be [name]Rebecca[/name], of the two options. I think [name]Jane[/name] is becoming the new [name]Marie[/name] - a filler kind of middle name that every other little girl is going to have.
