One of our top options for a boy is Magnus. Sisters are Philippa Evelynn and Ophelia Edith. Both girls have honor names for grandparents While I do enjoy the honor names, I still must objectively like the name. I would like to do something for my dad’s side, but struggling to find an option I like. My dad’s middle name is Peter, but I don’t love it. My family is from Louisiana and the French connection is strong- both of my dad’s parents were French speakers, so I was thinking about maybe using Pierre. Thoughts on Magnus Pierre? My great grandfather was Charles, which I’ve always loved in French pronounced as “Sharls,”(not concerned how other people will say it the few times it is ever uttered out loud outside of our family) but I’m not even sure how many people in my family would know the reference because he died when my dad and his siblings were young.
If none of these are great options, I might just use my maiden name as the middle name.
