[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] - feels a bit heavy, [name_f]Plum[/name_f] reminds me of plump and the dark colour of plums adds to that feeling as well.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] - I just don’t think that [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] is a nice-sounding name, the Rever- part puts me off (at least in English) as there is nothing soft about it
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] - I usually do not like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] but I think it works really nicely with [name_f]Margot[/name_f], it makes the name sound mature (yet still fit for a child), timeless and very professional sounding

Sorry I really dislike all three. But I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] is too “old lady” to me and not in a good way.
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] doesn’t sound like a name at all and I find it pretentious.
[name_f]Plum[/name_f] is just odd.

While I usually like [name_f]Plum[/name_f] in the middle, it sounds a bit cartoonish or mystery sleuth with [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I don’t care for the other two choices.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Plum[/name_f] adds a playfulness that [name_f]Margot[/name_f] needs. [name_f]Vera[/name_f] adds the opposite, she drags [name_f]Margot[/name_f] down into heavy, dusty old lady curtains in a room full of lace and teacups and the smell of dust and stale air.
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] I struggle to take seriously, it just seems a little try-hard to me. It’s not cute or sophisticated, just juvenile or immature. Like [name_f]Whimsy[/name_f] or [name_f]Winsome[/name_f] or [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].
[name_f]Plum[/name_f] has more gravitas (which I can’t believe makes sense to me XD)

Thank you for the honest feedback. I honestly didn’t think [name_f]Vera[/name_f] would be the top pick. It’s my grandmothers name so very very special to me.
I would love to hear any suggestions for a middle name for [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
I want something sweet and feminine but intellectual, I’m OK with slightly weird too. I love names like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]…

I actually love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f]! I think using your grandmothers name would be super sweet.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] is FANTASTIC! I like that both names are old-fashioned, because they’re both rounding the curve to where they sound fresh again.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] could be interesting as well.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is one of my favorite names and I love the idea of honoring someone special to you. I think it is special to the child too to have their name have such a meaningful connection for you.
