I’ve been on the hunt for good options to honor DH’s family for baby #2 since we honored my family with our son. DH’s last remaining grandparent is his grandmother [name]Mary[/name] [name]Mildred[/name] [name]Berry[/name] who goes by [name]Mildred[/name]. I think it would be really special to use her name if baby #2 is a girl, but I just can’t come around to [name]Mildred[/name].
We are southern and love the idea of double names, so I thought maybe a cute [name]Mary[/name] ___________ double name would be a great way to honor his family. So here is where you come in! What ya got? I love vintage classics like [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Annabelle[/name] but I’d love to see what you creative girls can come up with.
Also, if we find a really pretty combination but its too long to use as a double name, we could always call baby girl [name]Molly[/name].
The combos that are already taken by friends and family:
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Beth[/name] is nice as a pp suggested.
I was thinking of [name]Kimberly[/name] for the [name]Berry[/name] tribute, but Idk if [name]Mary[/name] [name]Kimberly[/name] would work at all. Maybe [name]Mary[/name] [name]Kimber[/name]? That’s probably pushing it though.
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] perhaps?
Why not a variant of [name]Mary[/name] instead? [name]Marie[/name], [name]Mariella[/name], [name]Mara[/name].
[name]Kimberly[/name] [name]Marie[/name] would be nice.
[name]Mara[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is nice.
[name]Annamaria[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Brielle[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Marisol[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
Mary Caroline
Mary Alexandra
Mary Isabelle
Mary Millicent
I love [name]Mary[/name] in and of itself, but what about [name]Millie[/name] to honor [name]Mildred[/name]?
If I had to double-barrel this name, I like [name]Mary[/name] [name]Claire[/name].
I love the suggestions of [name]Mary[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Mary[/name] [name]Maude[/name]! I would steer clear of [name]Mary[/name] [name]Beth[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Mary[/name] [name]Anne[/name] because they’re so common that they’ve become their own names, instead of double [name]Mary[/name] names. I know a little [name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and she’s adorable with an adorable name!
