We’re not expecting but my partner has recently suggested the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a girl, for him to like any name enough to mention it is really rare and while I’d never have considered it before, I actually love it! It fits perfectly with some other names I adore like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] and [name_u]Artemis[/name_u].
I know that many people think it’s a masculine sounding name I feel it’s a truly unisex name, while my partner associates it with the goddess [name_f]Morrigan[/name_f] and therefore finds it strange for a boy, so [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a girl only at this point

Sorry…but [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a girl is so 1990’s, and unattractive as a girls name to me. I always thought of it as a surname or boys name. And I can’t get away from always thinking My Organ…not a pleasant thought…

[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] works really well and it’s the [name_f]MIL[/name_f] name I think that may go on my list.

I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is wonderful, it’s on my list as well for any gender. I think [name_f]Morrigan[/name_f] is a fierce and strong (and definitely feminine) namesake, and I like surname names as well, so [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] fit’s in nicely. I don’t think it’s “too 90’s” at all, it’s been in the top 100 for a long time and only recently dropped down to in the 130’s. I consider it a modern classic.
