My 3 year old suggested Lucas Hawthorn Which we think is cool but not sold on either for first name.

Hawthorn is both parents football teams and suburb! But we think it’s kind of cool and makes Oliver
More interesting. Very rare and may get teased! But also happens to be the plant of May (due 1 May).

Harrison was mine mum’s name of choice but the family wasn’t sold.

Lucas is the kids preferred middle name and we think it flows well.

Looking for name that just sounds best overall.

Due today!

Thanks for your help!

They all flow well but I just lovvve [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] !
I don’t really think you’ll have to worry about teasing, especially as a middle name. Middle names don’t come up in conversation often enough. Either way though you’ve got some great options to meet him with!

Best of luck to you :blue_heart:

I think Oliver Hawthorn or Oliver Lucas flow best. I would choose Oliver Hawthorn - I love it and I think you’re more likely to regret going with the safer Lucas (as a middle) than the other way around. Lucas Hawthorn is nice too, it’s a cool, zippy and confident name while Oliver is a little more sweet and dreamy and has better nicknames…either way, Hawthorn has my vote! Good luck!

I would go with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] because it’s the least expected. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is common and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] is becoming more common. [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is fresh and exciting.

How many syllables does your last name have? Which one flows bests when the entire name is said aloud?

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] is fabulous - well balanced and meaningful - and [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] brings ‘secret’ excitement to the combo, while the first name is still solid and classic

Was going to add, I prefer [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] spelling and might distinguish from the suburb/ AFL team (unless you want them to be the same). Good luck again!

What about [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] / [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]?

Anyways I picked [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]! It is so romantic and particular with a [name_f]Brontë[/name_f] vibe. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is okay but a bit bland with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] balances it so well and makes it literary and full of charm and flair!
