I came across the name [name_f]Poet[/name_f] and instantly loved it! It is unique yet meaningful and there are no pronunciation or spelling issues. However, I can’t seem to find middle names that go well with it. I would ideally like two middle names but have no issue with narrowing to one if that is the best option. I love unique names (greek, animals, colours etc) but I’m not convinced that these go with [name_f]Poet[/name_f], being unique itself. I don’t like traditional names like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]Clare[/name_u] etc. Any suggestions would help me a lot!
Thanks Berries!X
Side note: I posted this in the Talk About [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Names forum and only got one response so sorry for the duplicate
@sorceress- Thanks for responding. I do like [name_f]Melisande[/name_f] as a name but not sure about pronunciation. The others don’t fit with my style really but thanks for the input none the less!
@zoey_walker53-Thank you for combining some of my favourite names with some new ideas! I love how you’ve added [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] to the end as I never thought I’d be able to make it fit. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are also great shouts and names that I haven’t considered greatly before so thanks very much for the suggestions.
@ashleyjuliette- Your naming style is divine! I love so many of your choices and many I hadn’t heard of before which is great. [name_f]Cypress[/name_f] and [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] are beautiful and [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] is a place name that I’ve loved for a long time so thanks for reigniting this spark. I am utterly in love with Oakland though! [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_m]Aries[/name_m] Oakland is amazing!
@isadoramutran- Thanks for posting. [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is cute and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is a name I’ve never really considered so thanks for that!
@valerie2- [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is a name that I have previously considered so thanks for suggesting that. [name_f]Aliya[/name_f] is also very cute.
I have dwelled on pps suggestion of Oakland and I can’t decide between that and Oaklyn. Any ideas which you prefer, [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_m]Aries[/name_m] Oakland or [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_m]Aries[/name_m] Oaklyn?
[name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Ariane[/name_f]…my girls have a [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] in their class (5th grade) and I am always shocked at how much I like it when they mention her…I’ve never heard it on another child! And [name_f]Ariane[/name_f] is another gp-name of mine, as it [name_f]Poet[/name_f]…(I like just about any vowel name after [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], too - [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Arabesque[/name_f], [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], etc…)
I’m glad you’re pleased @ashleyjuliette it’s great that we can all share our preferences!
@patey3-I’m really loving Skyson, that jumped out to me immediately as a lovely name. Thanks so much for all the suggestions.
@caty_beth89-[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] are both unusual names that I actually like, [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] more so for a boy to be honest but thanks for responding.
@mousehouse7- I like the idea of a vowel sound at the end, that idea does appeal to me! [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] is very cute but not really my style and I’m not into the nicknames but thanks for the suggestions X
[name_f]Poet[/name_f] [name_m]Tennyson[/name_m] [name_f]Lux[/name_f] (I know [name_m]Tennyson[/name_m] is under your boys name but I think it sounds pretty cute and sparky like this)
They might not fit so well with a last name though …
@arielladreams- thanks for replying! I’d never thought about [name_m]Tennyson[/name_m] as a girls name so thanks for that suggestion. Definitely one to think about!
@rkrd- I do like [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and I have loved [name_u]Blue[/name_u] as a name until [name_f]Beyonce[/name_f] stole it haha.
@chrisco- I am very glad you like it Again, I like the [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] suggestion and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is nice however overused so thanks for all your suggestions X
