Middle name for River...Cora?

So we just found out we are actually having a baby girl! Looking for opinions on the name [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. My Grandma was [name_f]Elenora[/name_f], and Hubs grandma is [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] so we came up with [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. We both like [name_f]Elenora[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] as well but are torn about using one or the other.

Other middle names we like:

[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]

Open to other suggestions as well!

[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] or [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] might be another way to honor both. From your list, my favorites are [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. I like the flow of a longer middle name, as well as the repeating v’s.

[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would be great. The triple-syllable 3rd name rounds the whole thing out, in my opinion.

I’m a bit torn here! I really love the meaning and sweetness of [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f], but I agree with the pp that [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] have a better sound, as the length helps to balance the name and the “v” sound is fantastic. I think [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is a great way to honor both.

I agree with pp. [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is lovely, but the flow seems off.

My first thought for an honor name was [name_f]Corrina[/name_f].

I think [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is lovely and think the flow is nice. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] makes for a perfect honor name for both [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] & Elinora. A very sweet little combo indeed.

I like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] l as well. I think this maybe have the same flow you are talking about.

I love [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. I do think the flow of it is a little rough, but not enough to not use it. I would suggest [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [or [name_f]Coralee[/name_f]… pronounced the same]
