Help! This is our first child and we are struggling with a middle name for [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. We have Peters on both side of the family so I like the idea of [name_m]Stone[/name_m], to honour them. Last name is two syllables.
Our ideas so far are:
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Stone[/name_m] (is this too much?)
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Sirius[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Gregor[/name_m]
Roman Joules
Other names we both like
[name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Knox[/name_m], [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
Names only I like
[name_m]Silas[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] are all fantastic combos. I love the names [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] but I feel they don’t work well with [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. And I don’t feel [name_m]Stone[/name_m] complements [name_m]Roman[/name_m] well to be honest, something about the repeated O sound maybe? I also feel a word name with [name_m]Roman[/name_m] is problematic as it ends up sounding as if a descriptor: a [name_m]Roman[/name_m] stone, a [name_m]Roman[/name_m] atlas… Some others that come to mind:
What about [name_m]Pearce[/name_m]/[name_m]Pierce[/name_m]/[name_m]Piers[/name_m]/Pyrs to honor [name_m]Peter[/name_m]? They are all variants of the name!
I think [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Pearce[/name_m] or [name_m]Roman[/name_m] Pyrs would be really handsome!
From your list, I also love [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Gregor[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u].
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] Joules is cool as well, but I prefer [name_u]Jules[/name_u].
