[name]Jake[/name] (boyfriend) really wants to use [name]Vida[/name] if #2 is a girl. I like it too, but I’m not 100% sure yet.
But we need a middle name for it. Something unusual and spunky, something that will make the combo go from “okay” to “fantastic”. Something memorable, like my son’s name ([name]Drake[/name] [name]Zephyr[/name]). Surname will be Wilde.
Any ideas?
And oh, if someone has some middle name ideas for Kenzie, those are welcome too. If it’s a girl, she will be either Vida or Kenzie.
From the suggestions so far, I like these: [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Winter[/name], [name]Electra[/name], [name]Calliope[/name], [name]Isaura[/name], [name]Leontine[/name], Lysandra, [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Rhiannon[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], [name]Coralie[/name], [name]Calista[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name]
I’ll ask [name]Jake[/name] about them when he gets home.
To me, [name]Vida[/name] [name]Elowen[/name] doesn’t have ideal flow because of the little pause that happens between the A and the E. But [name]Elowen[/name] is so gorgeous, and it flows beautifully with your last name- those repeated W sounds are divine.
Also, before I wasn’t so into [name]Vida[/name] (preferring [name]Vita[/name] or [name]Veda[/name]) but now that I see it next to Wilde, I think it’s awesome, and the D spelling makes sense. [name]Both[/name] the sound and the meaning- “wild life!” You should use that [name]Mary[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] poem on the birth announcement, “The [name]Summer[/name]'s [name]Day[/name].” Or just its ending:
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
