Willamae [name_u]June[/name_u] is our current favorite, and [name_u]June[/name_u] is a family name, but we’re concerned it rings a little too “[name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_u]June[/name_u]-[name_u]July[/name_u]”. Thoughts?
Also, last name starts with an “F” so any middle names beginning with “T” are out since the initials would spell out “WTF”.
I wouldn’t use [name_u]June[/name_u] because [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. I met an [name_f]April[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] once and it struck me as corny.
I like Willamae [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] best. Suggesting:
Agreed that [name_u]June[/name_u], while pretty, is very [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_u]June[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as substitutes (especially [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] since it’s the [name_u]June[/name_u] birthstone).
Willamae [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] gets my vote – [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]'s a good, strong, slightly offbeat name that really grounds and balances the sweet and soft Willamae. I also like Willamae [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as -mae & [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] together are quite classy and wonderfully vintage, and [name_f]Willa[/name_f]- is both modern and vintage, tying it all together.
If [name_u]June[/name_u] you like and it means something to you (I do think that the consecutive month thing is a little much), perhaps Willamae [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] you might like? It’s still got your [name_u]June[/name_u], is a little peppier, but is a little less obvious in regards to [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_u]June[/name_u]. Willamae [name_f]Juno[/name_f] might also work.
Willamae is such a unique, southern sounding name to me! I love the suggestion of Willamae [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. Maybe running with the southern feel could be helpful?
For me Willamae has a 19th-century, American pioneer sort of feel to it, so virtue names, nature names, & [name_m]Little[/name_m]-House-on-the-[name_u]Prairie[/name_u]-type names are what’s coming to my mind. Apologies for repeats…
Willamae is adorable! I am thinking of something vintage in the middle, so perhaps [name_f]Louise[/name_f]/[name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Bea[/name_f]/[name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]/[name_f]Dot[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]?
Willamae is so gorgeous! I think you could get away with Willamae [name_u]June[/name_u] because of the [name_f]Mae[/name_f] vs [name_f]May[/name_f] spelling but I can see why it might not be perfect.
