I don’t think [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is terrible. Maybe [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richmond[/name_m], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Raymond[/name_m], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Roger[/name_m], or [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Redmond[/name_m] could be options?
I think maybe it’s too close to [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] Blitzer? If you’re in the US that would be an association anyway. I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] better.
I don’t like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] that much, but it’s not awful. Well, unless his classmates make the wolf d*ck connection another poster did!
I love the suggestions of [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] and [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m].
Would you be willing to use two middle names? [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] for example? I’d stick to a two/one syllable second middle name.
I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and I like [name_m]Richard[/name_m], but I do think it is a terrible name! [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is so imaginative and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is so traditional.
I would steer clear of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] because the names are rampantly overused.
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Morrison[/name_m] all sound better to me. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t suppose you like [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] or [name_m]Wolfhart[/name_m]? There’s something about the one syllable [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] that makes a lot of nice names sound odd in the middle spot.
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Morrison[/name_m] has the nicest sound I think.
PS [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richmond[/name_m]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought. I do like a previous poster’s idea of two middles which seems to make the flow nicer.
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is a weird clunky combo. I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] the best of your names
I like the suggestion of two middles as long as you do too, and like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] even more. Also, [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_m]Morrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] are so handsome. BTW, [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is a great choice!
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] sounds fine. You will rarely say his full name out loud. The significance of [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is more important than flow.
[name_m]Richard[/name_m] sounds like a reserved accountant’s name, and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] sounds like a wandering free spirit. [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is almost an oxymoron (my opinion only). I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] best from your list.
I think [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] works - it’s not the smoothest flow but it’s not actually
bad. My mind does jump to the Anglo-[name_m]Saxon[/name_m] name Wulfric (pronounced like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]-[name_m]Rick[/name_m]), which could be a way to incorporate [name_m]Richard[/name_m] into the name without using it as a middle name. [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] would still make a logical nickname:
Wulfric [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Wulfric [name_m]Morrison[/name_m]
Wulfric [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] (etc)
If that doesn’t work, though, I second the idea of honouring [name_m]Richard[/name_m] by using his middle name (or surname, or father’s name etc) or a name that reflects someone/something important to him.
