We’re expecting #6 this fall and don’t know if it’s a boy or girl. If this is a girl we’re very confident in [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (middle name is dh’s grandmother).
I will say that only 2 of our kids have honor names for their middle so we’re not stuck on having to do that.
If this is a boy we are confident that the first name will be [name_u]August[/name_u] ("[name_u]Gus[/name_u]") but not sure of the middle name. There doesn’t seem to be any honor names in our family that we feel great about. There are a lot of [name_m]John[/name_m]'s, but I just don’t really like that name. There’s a few Davids, but that doesn’t seem to flow very well. There is [name_m]Walter[/name_m], which sounds good, but it’s a complicated thing and we’re not really wanting to honor that person right now.
So that leaves us with a random middle name. Originally we thought we would just use [name_u]James[/name_u], but then thought that’s a pretty common mn and not super interesting. Our latest thought was [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]. I love the name and meaning, but just don’t know if it’s too whimsical or out there. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]! It’s a guilty pleasure of mine since my partner isn’t into it. [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] is a wonderful combo.
Other mn ideas:
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_m]Martin[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_m]Edgar[/name_m]
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]
