Middle Name Help for Baby Boy Due Anyday

My husband and I are expecting our second boy any day now. The name we’ve chosen for our little boy is [name]Harper[/name], but we can’t come up with any middle names that we like! I would love some suggestions. We were hoping to find something to do with snow, winter or skiing… Or maybe just something with 3 syllables because I think that sounds best with our one syllable last name. Please don’t make a comment on how [name]Harper[/name] is becoming a girls’ name because we [name]LOVE[/name] this name for a boy! And it fits us perfectly, so there’s no changing that. Thank you for your help!!!

I love the name [name]Harper[/name] for a boy. Although, since girls are being named [name]Harper[/name] now, you should probably use a more masculine mn:
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Yukio[/name] ([name]Yukio[/name] means snow boy)
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Ezekiel[/name]

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Elliot[/name] (although [name]Elliot[/name] is also kind of unisex)
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Julius[/name]

I tried to keep most of them 3 syllables. Good luck!

For me, [name]Harper[/name] is a girl’s name. Sorry!

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Donovan[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Elliot[/name] (although I’ve seen [name]Elliot[/name] on girls, so I think a more clearly masculine middle works better)
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Elias[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Maxfield[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]William[/name]

Good luck!

Please no comments like this :frowning: It’s a boy’s name ([name]Harper[/name] [name]Lee[/name]'s real name was [name]Nelle[/name]) and girls are stealing it, like so many are and have been stolen before :frowning: There are so many beautiful, feminine names out there…

I would so much rather see a little boy [name]Harper[/name] than girl, even though as a rule, I’m not a fan of surnames as first names. I agree that [name]Harper[/name] needs a more masculine middle name, since there are (unfortunately) so many girl Harpers out there.

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]David[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Matteo[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]

[name]Harper[/name] is a terrific boy’s name! I don’t associated it with girls AT ALL. I agree that longer middle names go well with it. I second these suggestions:
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Julian[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Abraham[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Emmanuel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Frederick[/name]
Good luck!

[name]Harper[/name] is a boys name to me, i dont quite understand it as a girls name, but eh the mysterys i guess:) I automatically thought of [name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]. I think its a very strong handsome name:)

I agree with everyone else that [name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] is really a stunning name, a perfect combination of masculine and feminine, modern and vintage, harsh and soft…

Good luck with your new son!

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions and advice! I love [name]Harper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], too, but my husband’s cousin’s name is [name]Nathaniel[/name], and with all of our divorced families, people may be hurt by us choosing his name. …Same with [name]Anthony[/name]. I loved the suggestion of [name]North[/name], that was new and creative! And [name]Lachlan[/name] has been on my radar for a while now! Again thanks to all!

I really like [name]Harper[/name] for a boy, I am not a fan of it for a girl and I even kind of like masculine names on girls…some MN ideas

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Jameson[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Nikolai[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Hayes[/name] (i am kind of liking the alliteration)

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Anderson[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Tobias[/name]

Congratulations!

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Wyatt[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Avery[/name]

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] sounds awesome!
But maybe too much ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’
It sounds really cool though.

Good [name]Luck[/name]!

[name]Harper[/name] Eirwen(meaning white snow in welsh)
