Thanks for all your help on a previous post for our girl. I think we are decided on [name]Ezri[/name]…but now I don’t like the middle name I have, which was [name]Frances[/name] (after 2 grandmothers). I don’t think her name would “look” feminine enough.
Here are some ideas…any opinions? We also really wanted to use a family name for a middle name but there aren’t many that we also actually like.
Family name ideas that could maybe work.
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Francine[/name] (does that sound better than using [name]Frances[/name]?)
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Beth[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Jo[/name]
I’m really diggin the name [name]Ezri[/name]; cool choice!
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]–could be nice, but watch out for what the initials spell, as in EEK or EEL etc.
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Francine[/name] (does that sound better than using [name]Frances[/name]?) I actually think that [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Frances[/name] sounds better–something about the repeated eee sound (Ezreee Franceeen) isn’t jiving with me
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Beth[/name]–sounds nice, but I think that middle names are generally where you slip in something with a lot of character. Then again, the first name you chose has lots of character so maybe you want a tamer middle…
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Anne[/name]–I would say that more than 50% of the women I know have the middle name [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Jo[/name]–I think that these two have totally incongruous feels. [name]Ezri[/name] is so avant guard and then [name]Jo[/name] makes really down home, too homey for my tastes, actually.
Others that I just like:
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Joy[/name]–not in love with the sound
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]–[name]Amelia[/name] is really becoming overused.
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Taliah[/name]–I think this is my favorite definitely. Two quite cool names; nice lilt, compatible styles–I really hope you choose this one!
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]: I love [name]Elizabeth[/name], but not with [name]Ezri[/name]. [name]Ezri[/name]'s exotic flair calls for something more, well, exotic or with that old time appeal.
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Francine[/name] (does that sound better than using [name]Frances[/name]?): I prefer [name]Frances[/name], but [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] with [name]Ezri[/name]. [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] is lovely!
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Beth[/name]: [name]Beth[/name] is pretty dated, and just doesn’t go with [name]Ezri[/name].
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Anne[/name]: I love [name]Anne[/name], but it just isn’t working with [name]Ezri[/name].
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Jo[/name]: Ditto. [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], on the other hand, is great!
Others that I just like:
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Joy[/name]: I’m not a fan of [name]Joy[/name], but it does work with [name]Ezri[/name].
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]: Something just seems off.
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Taliah[/name]: [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Talia[/name] is lovely.
Of the above, [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] gets my vote!
[name]Love[/name] the advice! Some of you are scary good at describing why or why not names go together…you say it so well. [name]How[/name] do you get this skill?? I guess I am glad there’s Nameberry to help me out. Really like [name]Francesca[/name] idea, and I guess I could still use [name]Frances[/name]. Hmmmmm…
