Middle Name Help for Griffin

We have named our son [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]. Last name sounds like [name_m]Nohr[/name_m]. But we are torn on a middle name! We have considered my name [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] as an honor name (wife’s suggestion). But we also like the name [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], which means “blessed”, which is meaningful to us as this is our fourth and likely final child and represents the feeling we have right now with him. Beyond blessed. [name_f]My[/name_f] name will always have meaning as his father, but will Bennett’s meaning fade? Which sounds better? Other thoughts?

Any help is appreciated Nameberries!

Both are great options but I prefer [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] [name_m]Nohr[/name_m] as it flows a bit better. With [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Nohr[/name_m], the n in [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] runs into the N in [name_m]Nohr[/name_m]. We seldom say our middle name with our last name so it may not be a dealbreaker though.

I really like the idea of using your name as a middle, however [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] doesn’t have the best flow (if that matters, of course). Considering that, I prefer [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], the meaning it holds for you is lovely and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] sounds great with [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]!

If it matters, LN starts with an M.

[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_m]Benton[/name_m] came to mind as a combination of the two. That still gives you a middle ending in “n” though but it somehow works for me better than [name_u]Dustin[/name_u]. The flow of [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] are off to me. What about [name_u]Asher[/name_u]? It also means happy; blessed.

[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] sounds best to me:)

Thanks all of you. I appreciate your thoughts very much! It’s been helpful. God bless!

[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] both ending in N doesn’t have a great flow. [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] sounds very repetitive.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] sounds better to me!

I really love [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] for you, and also pp’s suggestion of [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Asher[/name_u]!
