i’ve grown to love this name so much, and i’d love to hear some more opinions on her, as well as your thoughts on sibling names -would only word names work? my favorites for her currently are reverie & atlas.
i’m also so so stuck on a middle so hit me with your favorite poet combos!
I think [name_u]Poet[/name_u] works with something long and grand like [name_f]Fianna[/name_f]. It can easily sound like a title rather than a name though, can’t it? E.g. [name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] doesn’t seem to work well…I have this trouble with [name_u]River[/name_u] combos!
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Eglantine[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Esmeray[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Ismay[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Ruzenka[/name_f]
As for siblings, I don’t think you’d be limited to word names, I think other short and lovely names could work like [name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and Enya…
[name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_m]Finlo[/name_m] and [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_f]Lena[/name_f] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Caro[/name_u] and [name_f]Inez[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Saro[/name_u] and [name_u]Marin[/name_u]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Riven[/name_u] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
I love the name [name_u]Poet[/name_u]! And I also struggle with middle names for it. I love the way [name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_u]Fable[/name_u] sounds together but I think it’s a little too cheesy because the names are so close in meaning. I’ve thought about:
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_m]Knightley[/name_m]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_f]Serenity[/name_f]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] Wildes
[name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_m]Foster[/name_m]
But I think my favorite combo I have come up with is [name_u]Poet[/name_u] [name_u]Clove[/name_u]
Honestly, word names like Poet aren’t my style so I persoknally don’t really like Poet. However, I can see how the romantic vibe is appealing.
I think non word names can also work as sibling names. Poet, Reverie and Atlas form a lovely set. I think Elva could also work well for a sister and Florian for a brother.
i’m a sucker for word names–so obviously i love poet! to me, poet is fully neutral, and i can’t see it on one particular gender. i think i prefer it as a middle (i rarely see it used as a first) but it has such a magical, storybook feel here which i love.
I think [name_u]Poet[/name_u], [name_u]Atlas[/name_u], and [name_u]River[/name_u] would make such an adorable sibset! Don’t know many middle names for them though
Since it’s not my style I’ve never really thought of what names I would pair with it, but I think a slightly longer, vintage name would pair nicely! Maybe names with a sort of dark academia vibe?
If I were to use [name_u]Poet[/name_u] as a first name, I would use a longer and more traditional name in the middle I have a feeling that she’d be nicknamed [name_u]Poe[/name_u], which is absolutely adorable!
