I’m sorry to those of you that have replied on so many of my other threads over the past months. I thank you so much! I still love [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Cora[/name], [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Miriam[/name], but with the health of my dad ([name]Charles[/name]), [name]Charlotte[/name] has taken a forefront for me. I had previously thrown it out due to gaining popularity, but now we need to consider middle names for it. The middle names options so far are significant for family names or name meaning. What are your thoughts on the possibilities? Favorites and which are terrible?
They all work on some level, but some are a little more awkward than others; for instance, [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] don’t seem to fit together very well in my eyes. Not a huge fan of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eva[/name]/[name]Eda[/name] either. [name]Eden[/name] might work but that one kinda depends on how it matches with your last name. Same goes for [name]Felicity[/name].
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] is fine. I like both names individually; they don’t “sing” together but they don’t clash either.
I love the L-names: [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name]/[name]Luna[/name]/[name]Lucia[/name]. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Edith[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Iris[/name], and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Freya[/name] are attractive, not-too-obvious combinations as well. [name]Mae[/name] works with most anything but is a little filler, so I’d use that only as backup if you don’t take to anything else.
I think they are all wonderful choices and yes some seem to flow of the lingua like champagne …ie [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name]/[name]Lucia[/name]. The only one I think that doesn’t fit is [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]…maybe [name]Blythe[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. I don’t know about that one. [name]Blythe[/name] seems a bit old and stuffy and [name]Charlotte[/name] seems so with it…so it feels like its fighting w/itself. [name]Just[/name] my 2 cents.
I feel like the mn should begin with L or R to pick up those sounds in [name]Charlotte[/name]. So [name]Lucille[/name] from your list is my fave.
Would you consider:
They all can work but these are the best in my opinion:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
I would have loved [name]Freya[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] if switched like these but, honestly, it doesn’t floe very well the way you’ve got it.
I like Charlotte Louisa/Eloise/Lucille etc, but I wasn’t sure if the L middle names were too L heavy with Charlotte. It seems like those are combos do sound okay. I love Charlotte Iris. Thanks for the input. With dh, I think we can narrow it down to a top ten or so. A poll will be coming.
