Middle name help

[name]Baby[/name] number three is another girl (they are fairly sure anyway, baby was not being overly cooperative). [name]Quinn[/name] will be her first name (95% sure) but man are we struggling to find her a middle name (the only reason we are not at 100% with the name). There are various reasons we are struggling…I’ll list my current favorites and what my hang ups are.

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]- the double n ending…last name also ends in n making it triple n endings. [name]Caroline[/name] is a nod to my grandmother [name]Carolyn[/name] who is struggling with Alzheimer’s disease.

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Michaela[/name]-probably my favorite because [name]Michaela[/name] had been considered as a first name for my other two daughters. BUT is it too Dr. [name]Quinn[/name] Medicine Woman?

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]-I like this but I’m not loving the Q O initials.

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]-- I love this combo probably my all time favorite… But my nephew has [name]Alexander[/name] as a middle name and a good friend gave his daughter [name]Alexandra[/name] as her middle name.

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]-I love this too…SO is not a big fan though…and another friend used [name]Amelia[/name] for her daughters middle name.

SO threw [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] out there but certain names (like these make [name]Quinn[/name] sound like [name]Queen[/name]).

Any opinions on these options would be helpful or any other suggestions would be appreciated!

I love [name]Quinn[/name]. From your list, I like [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name], [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name].

I love quinn michaela, until you mentioned dr. quinn and was like oooo, yeah, maybe not so much. but the children of her generation really wont make that connection.

If you like the 3 or 4 syllable names you could try:
[name]Arabella[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name]/[name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Mckenzie[/name]
[name]Emmaline[/name]
[name]Gianna[/name]
[name]Seraphina[/name]
[name]Viviana[/name]
[name]Angelina[/name]

[name]Just[/name] a few that came to mind. Let us know what you decide and best of luck!

My favorites are [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Alexandra[/name]. Unless your nephew or friends kids use their middle name often, I dont think it would be a huge deal if you used the same name.

Suggestions(not all of these are your style, but they all flow well):
[name]Elena[/name]/[name]Elaina[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name]
[name]Avery[/name]
[name]Julianne[/name]/[name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Melody[/name]
[name]Arianna[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Veronica[/name]

I loved [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Michaela[/name] until you mentioned the Dr. [name]Quinn[/name] reference. I agree, you can’t use it.

[name]How[/name] about:

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alessandra[/name] (a little variation from [name]Alexandra[/name], but same feel)
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Vienna[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Samantha[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] Emilina
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Natasha[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Juliana[/name]

I like [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Michaela[/name] and I don’t think of the TV show at all. If you considered [name]Michaela[/name] as a first name before, why not still? [name]Michaela[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] is so lovely and it flows so well! I think it is perfect! My second choice is [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]. Good luck!

We are due with our second daughter and are planning on naming her [name]Quinn[/name], but have run into the same trouble with finding the perfect middle name. The only combo that we have come up with that we like is [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amadea[/name] (which is along your “A” middle name thought process i.e. [name]Alexandra[/name] & [name]Amelia[/name]).

We have considered using [name]Quincy[/name] instead of [name]Quinn[/name]. In the event we go this route, we will name her [name]Quincy[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

Good luck! I’ll be curious which combo you end up going with.

[name]Michaela[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] was the lead character’s name.

Have you considered the name [name]Quincy[/name] nn [name]Quinn[/name]? I like it paired with [name]Carolyn[/name]…[name]Quincy[/name] [name]Carolyn[/name].

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Carolina[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Annora[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Nadia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Ophelia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Arabella[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Linnea[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Elisabetta[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Rebekah[/name]

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] & [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] are my favorite from your list.

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] is beautiful, also like [name]Alexandria[/name] if you fancy an extra syllable!

From your other choices, I actually really like the initials Q O with [name]Olivia[/name], so unusual.

Others that sound good to me are:

[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Estella[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Carolina[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Elise[/name]

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I’ll have to run some of these by SO and see if we agree on anything. I’ll keep you posted.

Btw…[name]Michaela[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] is out because it was the actual name of the character.

I know a 2 year old named [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]. (When her mom was pregnant I first thought [name]Elizabeth[/name] would make a good mn, but quickly came to the [name]Queen[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] thought, myself!)

Other suggestions:
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alexandria[/name] (a different spin on the already take [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Alexandra[/name])
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] (maybe too many n’s)
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Brianna[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amanda[/name]
