My husband and I both really like [name_f]Edith[/name_f] (nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f] or possibly [name_f]Evie[/name_f] - our last name starts with a V so… EV).
I’m stuck on what we could use as a middle name. The only name that I think works is an old family name on my side: [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] (with line pronounced how it is spelled, as opposed to “leen.”). Our last name is V@lencia.
To give you an idea of what we like, here are some other names we like:
Inés - has a family name connection
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - has a family name connection, but is too popular to use
[name_f]Carla[/name_f] - Has a family name connection
[name_f]Luz[/name_f] - family name, but we probably won’t use it
[name_f]Caridad[/name_f]- I only like it as a middle name
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] is really nice! That is a great option. If [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is not exactly to your liking, you might consider [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], which has the same meaning (I think) but is is a little more distinctive from [name_f]Edith[/name_f] in sound. Thank you! My husband’s name is [name_m]Carlos[/name_m], which is part of the reason why [name_f]Carla[/name_f] was on our list. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is a great suggestion! I’m adding it to the list.
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Edie[/name_f]’ is really lovely. My absolute favourite option though from the names you’ve listed would be [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f] - such a great combo in my opinion! [name_f]Edith[/name_f] Inés and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Caridad[/name_f] are nice too. Some other ideas:
