Middle name ideas for Roman?

Expecting a little boy in upcoming months!
So far, DH and I’s favorite name is [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
As far as a middle name, we discussed [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u]. [name_u]Roy[/name_u] would be an honor name (our daughter also has a middle honor name. Initially, I didnt have any that I liked with [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and I felt like if the first 2 had honor names then we’d be ‘locked’ into continuing to use honor names.
[name_u]Roy[/name_u] is the only honor name that I like how it sounds with [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. Initially , I wasnt sure how i felt about the Ro-Ro but to me, it sounds like it flows well despite. Then I googled the combo and found that [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] is the name of a tv series character (neither DH or I have ever watched the show so we wouldnt have known and I doubt most family/friends would also be aware). Our last name is 2 syllables and also ends in an ‘en’ sound.

Thoughts on [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u]?
Also taking suggestions on other potential middle names!

Some middle names that are on my list or had been discussed:
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] (runner-up), [name_u]Reid[/name_u] (DH fav), [name_u]Wade[/name_u]

In our area/circles, [name_m]Roman[/name_m] is still a rather unusual/rare name so I’d like to stick to a middle name that is familiar or not to far out there.

Thanks!

I like [name_m]Roman[/name_m]! I much prefer [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Tate[/name_u] though, [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] doesn’t do it for me.

Are you happy to tell us your daughter’s name, it might help with ideas?

I would do [name_u]Tate[/name_u] or [name_u]Wade[/name_u] over [name_u]Roy[/name_u] but I don’t know that that TV show is successful enough to make someone who isn’t an uberfan automatically think of the association. So if you like [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u], go for it!

A few other suggestions:

[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Levi[/name_u]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Nate[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Henry[/name_u]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Gage[/name_m]

Hopefully these help

I really [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u]!

[name_m]Roman[/name_m] is gorgeous such a handsome name that feels stylish and laid back. [name_u]Roy[/name_u] is a nostalgic retro choice that feels clunky and cool. I think [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] is such a fun name I love the alliteration, the soft sound, the built in nickname RoRo and how he honours family. I say go with [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] :sauropod:

[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Roy[/name_u] sounds kind of cool and catchy. While I’ve heard of the show, I’ve never heard of the character, but since [name_u]Roy[/name_u] is an honour name and in the middle spot (so he’d mostly be [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [Surname] not [name_m]Roman[/name_m] Roy) I think you can use it still!

I do like [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Tate[/name_u] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u]

[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] (similar meaning to Roy)

[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Floyd[/name_u]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u]
