Looking for some middle name ideas for [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. Last name starts with O and ends in “man”. Our sons name is [name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] ([name_m]Levi[/name_m] after my grandmother [name_f]Laura[/name_f], and [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] after my husbands grandfather).
If we have a daughter next she will likely be [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] “[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]” [name_f]Roz[/name_f].
Ideas we have are
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (Theordore was grandfathers name)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Avi[/name_u] ([name_f]Audrey[/name_f] was husbands grandmothers name)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] (This is one of my favorites, but husband does not like [name_u]Elias[/name_u] unfortunately)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] (This is my husbands favorite, I tend to think of [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] Gump though…)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u] (Husband doesn’t love this one)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] ([name_m]Harvey[/name_m] was my uncles name)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Huxley[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] ([name_m]Herbert[/name_m] is my husbands grandfathers name)
I’m not 100% sold on any of these middle names. Very open to other suggestions you may have. Thank you in advance :-).
Purely soundwise, I like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], but [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is great too. I agree with the poster above, in that I would probably use a family middle to ‘match’ [name_m]Levi[/name_m]'s - for what it’s worth, [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] sound amazing together, so good choice!
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is a lovely name, great choice!
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] is really handsome and distinctive, but if the connection is too great for you I like [name_u]Avi[/name_u], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] as well
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is very long compared to the more simple style of your first sons name, if that’s something that you would think about at all
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] flows the best in my opinion (a lot of your choices have 3 syllables or a clashing o sound)
You could do [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Herb[/name_m], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Ted[/name_m] or [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] Hux to keep the family names but add a twist.
