My baby was due [name]May[/name] 22nd but is taking her sweet time getting here. I don’t think that she is going to be born until they induce me which will be about [name]June[/name] 2nd. So now I am rethinking the middle name… I have always liked [name]June[/name]. Her first name is [name]Jillian[/name], we hadn’t totally settled on a middle name yet, but I like [name]May[/name] because I thought she would be born in [name]May[/name]. DH said the other day that he doesn’t like [name]May[/name].
[name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name]
Does that sound ok? Is that too many similar sounds? Too sing-songy? I like that there is the option of nn J.J.
[name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name] is a tad much, but I’m okay with it because 1) I love the middle name [name]June[/name] and 2) I love alliteration.
As much as I love [name]June[/name] as a middle name, I think [name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name] is a lot of the J and N sounds. I don’t know if it is the best option for your little girl.
That being said, should she arrive in [name]June[/name] - my birth month! - you could use [name]Pearl[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] this. The pearl is [name]June[/name]'s birth stone, and the rose is [name]June[/name]'s birth flower - in fact, [name]June[/name] is sometimes referred to as the “[name]Rose[/name] month”!
So, what do you think of [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] or [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Rose[/name]? I prefer the flow of both over [name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name], myself. Good luck!
I prefer [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] over [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. [name]Rose[/name] is way too overdone these days and don’t want her to have a “filler” middle name. [name]Pearl[/name] is nice though, I didn’t know it is the birth stone of [name]June[/name]. I have been expecting her to be born in [name]May[/name], so I know all the stone/flower etc for [name]May[/name]. Thanks for letting me know what they are for [name]June[/name]!
For me, [name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name] has to much J and N. Maybe [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Junia[/name] or [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Juniper[/name] would flow better?
Or, if [name]Rose[/name] as a middle name is too popular, you could use one of it’s variants, like [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Rosa[/name], [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name], or [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name]…
I think [name]Jillian[/name] [name]June[/name] is a rocking name! It sounds like a character from a book or song - in a good way. It’s memorable and strong and has a great rhythm to it. J is one of those letters that really works with alliteration.
