Middle Name Namesakes

Hubby and I were discussing and if I were to have a baby girl next we’d like a middle name namesake from my side of the family. My son’s middle name is after my husband’s grandfather.

Trouble is I’m not a fan of anything on my side. I don’t want it to be directly after my mum or sister because I feel his mum and sister may feel left out.

So that leaves my grandmother’s names
[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f]
[name_f]Janice[/name_f] Lauralynn

[name_f]Anne[/name_f] and [name_f]Janice[/name_f] I am pretty much against. They just aren’t my style. I love Lauralynn but haven’t found a name that suits it that’s our style. And [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] I’m on the fence. If I find a name that sounds amazing I’d use it or if there was some kind of variation of either [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] or Lauralynn with a name that suits!

Open to suggestions please :blush::blush::blush:

Our surname starts with T and is Italian.
Our son’s name is [name_u]Remy[/name_u]

I’m not sure of your naming style besides [name_u]Remy[/name_u], but trying to make good flow, here’s what I could come up with (names ending in an e sound seem to be your best bet flow wise) :

[name_u]Simone[/name_u] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Renee[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Maisey[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Addy[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Delia[/name_f] Lauralynn T
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] Lauralynn

[name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] is a bit easier:
[name_f]Hayley[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Maisey[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_f]Geraldine[/name_f] T

My one suggestion is to use [name_f]Annika[/name_f] after [name_f]Anne[/name_f], but I don’t know if that’s your style.

Geralynn? [name_f]Jerrilyn[/name_f]? Lauraline? I feel like those names are compatible enough to mesh

1st of all I want to encourage you to use whichever namesake you feel in your heart you most want to honor. If that’s your mom or your sister, honoring them is just that: honoring them. It’s not insulting your husband’s family members. You decided to name after your side this time. It has nothing to do with them. If they take it offensively, that’s a shame. But it’s insignificant compared to how meaningful it’ll be to you, the honoree and your daughter.
However, you love Lauralynn so let’s work with that. I think it’d sound good with a pinchy 2 syllable name:
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Mira[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] Lauralynn
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Nina[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] Lauralynn
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] Lauralynn

Good luck
