Absolutely Smitten with Solomon. It is definitely my number #1 pick from what we’ve considered. Husband likes it and said he will let the name marinade, haha.
Of the middle name suggestions I mentioned, he liked Solomon Ames (my favorite 
) and Solomon Cedric. I’m also throwing Solomon Clancy back into the running, though I think I like it less.
What say the berries? Last name starts with St-, has an o in the middle, and ends in -er.

I like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] most, but with a last name starting with S, it feels too alliterative. So I voted for the strong second-choice: [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Ames[/name_u].

I do love thé thought of using [name_u]Clancy[/name_u]. And i just keep coming back to Cedric… I think because I’m fond of [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] but not the nicknames Fred/Freddy/Rick. I think I just like the m’s in [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Ames[/name_u] 
, but no one in my family likes the combo.

I feel like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Ames[/name_u] flows super well and the m’s in both names make is cohesive, but my husband insists that it doesn’t flow at all. 
The only combos he’s ever suggested as “flowing” sound like the most choppy and disjointed names ever to me.
