[name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for some opinions/suggestions on some of our names below:
[i][name_u]Alden[/name_u] - My fiancee surprised me by liking this name!! I really like the A (for some reason haha). It just feels comfortable and gentle and would grow well with a boy.
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] - one of my favorites that my fiancee sort of likes. I like how it sounds with our last name (rhymes with Kowan (pronounce like COW-an) and it feels spunky and fun.
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] - a subtle like of mine that is dear to me because its my father’s middle name. My only struggle is that it may sound strange with the last name.[/i]
These are the middles we may consider:
[name_m]John[/name_m] - his father’s name and my grandpa’s name
[name_m]Richard[/name_m] - my father’s name
Tebbo - my uncle’s name. It’s a family name and he is my favorite uncle, who also has no children of his own. Pronounced TEH-bo)
T - [name_m]Just[/name_m] a T initial, for the uncle mentioned above as T is HIS middle name (Tebbo T.). Works to honor him if we don’t go with Tebbo
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] is definitely overlooked imo!!
I prefer [name_m]Warren[/name_m] to [name_u]Alden[/name_u] due to the overwhelming popularity of names that sound similar to [name_u]Alden[/name_u]. [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] and variants included. But if you don’t like how [name_m]Warren[/name_m] sounds with your last name, that takes precedence to me! The kid will have their first and last name in combination their whole life, so it is definitely important!
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] COW-an doesn’t sound the best, but [name_u]Alden[/name_u] has the same ending. The softer beginning of the name does help the overall flow of first and last, but to me, I would cut out any name that ends in -en or -an with your last. [name_m]Just[/name_m] my opinion!
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] Tebbo is adorable!
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] Tebbo T
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_u]Ira[/name_u]
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] T
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] T
[name_u]Alden[/name_u] is definitely my favorite name on your list! However, I worry that it is too rhyme-y with your last name. [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] was the first combo that came to my mind, but 1) then first, middle, and last name would end in -n and 2) I realize that it was the first thing I thought of because it sounds like [name_m]Elton[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m].
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] was on my list until my friend who had never heard of the name could only associate it with [name_u]IRA[/name_u]. It’s beautiful and gentle, and I would love to meet a little [name_u]Ira[/name_u]. [name_u]Ira[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] is so cute!
I also love [name_m]Warren[/name_m]! I just love your style. All your names are soft and gentle, yet strong and masculine. I think [name_m]Warren[/name_m] Tebbo is lovely.
