We are a [name_m]French[/name_m] American couple and we currently live in [name_f]France[/name_f]. Lately, I have been thinking that I would like our children to have “American” middle names to reflect my husband’s origins. By American I mean: I want people to identify the name as American, I want the name to show my children’s origins. For example, we really love [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], but in Europe nobody would know or even guess that [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] is an English word. We also are nature lovers and like the idea of a nature name.
My husband likes [name_u]Grey[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Oak[/name_u], [name_u]Oakley[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], [name_u]Camden[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] & [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. His preferences are the 3 last ones.

If you were us, which middle name from our list would you pick for [name_u]Everest[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u]? Any other ideas?
He doesn’t like [name_m]Levi[/name_m], [name_m]Fox[/name_m] & [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] (I adore [name_m]Fox[/name_m]). We already have a [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], a [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] and a [name_m]Cash[/name_m] in the family. He likes [name_u]Parker[/name_u] and [name_u]Blake[/name_u] for a girl. He likes [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] for a boy but he prefers [name_u]Carter[/name_u]!

I really like the sound of [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u]! It flows really nicely and is a great combo! [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is nice too!
I quite like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and I really want to like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] too, but there’s something I’m not sure on about the way the names go together.

I also love [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] but I feel that it could be used as a first name to go with [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Everest[/name_u] better than as a middle name for [name_u]August[/name_u].

Maybe the names aren’t catchy because they are mostly 2-2-2 syllable names. Changing up the order leads to two names I really like: [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] and [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
This is exactly my feeling, they are okay, but I don’t love the way they flow together even though I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] all the names. I just don’t have a crush
I think [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] would be too much, especially with our last name (very close to [name_u]McKinley[/name_u]).
Hmm… Are you committed to having two middle names? I looked at your list of favorites from your signature and you have a few others that are 1 or 3 syllables that would sound good too! A 2-3-2 syllable or 2-1-2 pattern would work really well, and I think either [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] or [name_m]Milo[/name_m] would follow well after all the names below:
