Middle Names for Azusena and Jolanta

I’m going to be adopting twin girls but I need some help for ideas.
Title says it all, middle names are difficult to combine especially if the name ends with an A.
Middle names can’t end in A and can’t end in R.
They can’t start with A either.
SORRY, I’M SO PICKY.
Maybe names ending in IE would be lovely.
Preferably uncommon names. I don’t like names that are over used… sorry.
Last name is Peltier if that helps.
Pronounced: Pehlshay, yes it’s [name_m]French[/name_m].
I decided to name the girls based on my favorite flower and my best friends favorite.
Azusena means [name_f]Lily[/name_f] in Arabic.
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] means [name_f]Violet[/name_f] in Polish.
So please no flower names either.

My best friend is also the Godmother of them.
We both share the same middle name, [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
So it can’t be [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
Her name is [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
My name is [name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].

I think Azucena is the right spelling of Azusena, and it can be pronounced both with the /s/ sound and the /th/ sound.

Azucena [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] & [name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Callie[/name_f]

Azucena actually refers to the [name_f]Madonna[/name_f] lily in Spanish. The Arabic word for lily is زنبق (zambaq.)

[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] shares a common root with [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but the actual word for a violet flower in Polish is fiołek. The Polish form of the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is Wioletta (or [name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] via [name_f]Yolande[/name_f].)

Middle name ideas:
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Magali[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucie[/name_f]

[name_f]Melodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Arcadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]

Yeah sorry to burst your bubbles but I prefer alternative ways to spell names. I don’t like the C version of Azusena.

Also read somewhere Azusena was Arabic, could be wrong but I didn’t know it was Spanish.

Most of these names are under the top 1000

The Spanish word Azucena is itself derived from Arabic susan referring to a lily of the valley (different to a [name_f]Madonna[/name_f] lily), brought into the language after the Umayyad caliphate conquered Spain in the 700s ([name_m]AD[/name_m].)

[name_f]Marie[/name_f] was the first name I thought of! I think you should give both of your new little loves the middle name [name_f]Marie[/name_f], to carry on the tradition! It would be really sweet for all four of you to share your middle name.

Seeing your last name has a french origin and -ie names are very common in french, that is a nice place to start:

[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudie[/name_f] /[name_f]Claudine[/name_f]
[name_u]Julie[/name_u]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cornelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Flavie[/name_f]
[name_f]Celie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurie[/name_u]
[name_f]Felicie[/name_f]
[name_f]Valerie[/name_f]

My favorite combos with those are:

Azusena [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] Peltier
Azusena [name_f]Flavie[/name_f] Peltier
Azusena [name_f]Claudine[/name_f] Peltier
Azusena [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] Peltier

[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] Peltier
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] Peltier
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilie[/name_f] Peltier
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Felicie[/name_f] Peltier

It is one thing to have an alternative spelling (like Alhelí/Alelí, both correct spellings of the Arabic-derived Spanish name for the wallflower) a whole other thing is to butcher a name and a word and call it “alternative” and be rude about being corrected while also admitting ignorance about the subject.

If you don’t like any advice and are indeed picky, I suggest you use the “Find a name” feature of the website under the namehunter, it is highly customizable.

My mother is from Poland and name [name_f]Jolanta[/name_f]. Her middle name is [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f] and although it ends in an A, the reasoning for the middle name is because it was one of the names for the day she was born. I don’t know if you know about name days in Poland but you can look up a calendar if you’d like and perhaps pick a name from the day the girls were born.

[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] and Azusena are both really lovely (although I personally really do prefer Azucena.Yes, you like it… But that isn’t like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. [name_f]Imo[/name_f] it’s a bit like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and Kaferine, tbh)

[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & Azusena [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] & Azusena [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Emelie[/name_f] & Azusena [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] [name_f]Euphemie[/name_f] & Azusena [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] Anandi & Azusena Roshni
[name_f]Jolanta[/name_f] Xanthippe & Azusena [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]

Azucena is the correct spelling, it’s my daughter’s middle name. It’s beautiful anyway. Good look finding middle names!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] saw that your daughter’s name is [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] Azucena. That’s so stunning (says a totally not biased women that happens to have nearly the same first name/with a one letter difference ;))
