Middle Names for Demelza

So I was pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback for Demelza in my previous topic thread and have felt encouraged to keep it in my top names list. Now I’ve been thinking about what middle names could potentially go with it. Being a rather unusual name, I think it needs something familiar and solid in the middle spot, no longer than 2 syllables. Something soft sounding I think would work, since Demelza is very distinctive.

So far I have:

Demelza Claire
Demelza Rose (very filler I know but I think it is lovely regardless)
Demelza Erin
Demelza Sofie

I would love any suggestions on what would be a good middle to balance out Demelza

I don’t usually like Rose in the middle as it is so well used, but it balances the spiky, eye-catching Demelza beautifully.

How about…

Demelza Iris
Demelza June
Demelza Pearl
Demelza Florence
Demelza Plum
Demelza Willow
Demelza Fern
Demelza Mary
Demelza Ivy
Demelza Opal
Demelza Harriet
Demelza Alice
Demelza Fleur
Demelza Hope
Demelza Blythe
Demelza Romy
Demelza Edith
Demelza Primrose

[name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is lovely! Also [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is my mom’s middle so [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] would actually be especially nice! I also really like [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] Faye/Fae

Thank you! Yes, it’s where I first heard the name! At first I thought it was strange, but it’s grown on me so much, and I adore her as a character.

[name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is so elegant

Thank you! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourites of your suggestions are [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_u]Louise[/name_u], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and I actually really like the (dreaded 3 syllables :joy:) options of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! Perhaps 3 syllables wouldn’t be so bad after all!

It’s made me also think of adding another of my top names, [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] to my list, [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] - maybe a bit over complicated but it’s certainly distinctive

Thank you, I am partial to it as well. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning of [name_f]Claire[/name_f], and it’s also an homage to my favourite composer (Debussy), and his piece [name_u]Clair[/name_u] de [name_f]Lune[/name_f], which is special to me, so it is definitely in my top faves.

[name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is gorgeous too, and [name_f]Demelza[/name_f] [name_f]Enya[/name_f]! (Enya being another favourite musician of mine!)
