If we end up having a boy (scan’s not for 2 more months) we intend on calling him [name_m]Emrys[/name_m].
We have a very long last name so I think [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] will balance out well with it (Lambruschini)…
What are some good middle names to go along with it? I’m up for a bit unusual but it can’t be too wild because my husband is a tad more conservative than me, hehehe.
OOh - [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] has a nice ring to it! So does [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], but I have an estranged uncle [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] so that just won’t do…
[name_f]My[/name_f] top combo for [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] is [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] but maybe that’s a bit too unusual for your husband (and long for your surname)
I think maybe a one syllable middle would be best
Sorry for any repeats
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Cain[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_u]Drew[/name_u]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Kurt[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]
I think tzolghadr hit the nail on the head. A monosyllabic middle is just perfect. I can’t add to her list, I just wanted to comment on the flow (2-1-4 syllable count-- heaven!)
The monosyllabic middle is a good idea for balance! [name_f]My[/name_f] family is suggesting multiple middles (we each have 3 middle names… perhaps a tad excessive, but nobody new I’d marry into such a long name!)
I’m liking [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]… I think [name_f]My[/name_f] husband would totally go for something like that. I’ll sit him down with these lists and just say ‘For God’s sake, pick one!!’ hehehe
