My boyfriend and I are not currently ttc, but we’ve had multiple conversations about children, how many we want, and names for them. I am stuck on boy names though! For girls we have:
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or [name_u]Romy[/name_u]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ada[/name_f] or [name_f]Addie[/name_f]
Most of the girls combos have a meaningful connection for us, whether it be a family name or a hometown.
The only two boy names we love are [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u]. I haven’t been able to figure out middles, though. My bf’s dad is named [name_m]Brian[/name_m], which I don’t love, but it would be nice to honor him in some way. His grandfather is [name_m]Robert[/name_m], which I do like, but I don’t think it flows with either of our boy choices very well… Basically I just need help! Any suggestions for middles would be appreciated, along with other first names you think would fit our style. If you want to try to work [name_m]Brian[/name_m] and [name_m]Robert[/name_m] in, you can try, but it’s not needed. Please help! Thanks!
I really like the suggestion of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]! I’ll have to run that by my boyfriend later.
The last name is one syllable, though, so we are trying to avoid one syllable middle names.
[name_m]Robert[/name_m] means bright fame so names that mean bright: (They may not all be your style but just throwing ideas)
Any -bert name ([name_m]Albert[/name_m], [name_m]Hubert[/name_m], etc)
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u]
[name_m]Callahan[/name_m]
[name_m]Clarence[/name_m]
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
Names that mean Fame:
[name_m]Merrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Wilmer[/name_m]
[name_m]Brian[/name_m] means strong/virtuous/honorable
Means strong: (There’s a lot so I’ll name you a handful)
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Bernard[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] (though the names both end with T, I think they are different enough to flow okay together)
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
I think we’re pretty set on [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] now!
For [name_u]August[/name_u], I like the sound of [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], but I’m not sure about [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] yet… It might be a little too out there for my boyfriend’s taste.
I do like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] as well, but our last name has a strong T sound as well, and I think it’s a little too much.
Can I just say that I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? That is such a gorgeous name and it flows perfectly! Now onto boy names, have you considered using [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] for a girl or [name_m]Byron[/name_m] or [name_m]Roberto[/name_m] for a boy? [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Byron[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Roberto[/name_m] both sound nice to me. Other suggestions:
